Application

Helical dead-ends for earth wire are designed to bear full tension on earth wires. These products connect the earth wire to towers (or poles) using matching fittings such as clevis thimbles, socket eyes, etc. They are ideal substitutes for traditional clamps like bolt-type tension clamps, compression-type tension clamps, and wedge-shaped tension clamps.

Characteristic

• Helical dead-ends for earth wire offer high gripping strength for earth wires and can support higher tensile force. The gripping strength exceeds 95% of the earth wire's RBS (rated breaking strength).

• These products function reliably under extremely adverse environmental conditions, maintaining sufficient gripping strength throughout their full service life. Since the material of the helical dead-ends is similar to that of the earth wire, both the products and the earth wire are protected from electro corrosion.

• Stress is evenly distributed, with no stress concentration on the earth wire, providing excellent protection to the earth wire.

• The products can be installed without additional tools—installation can be completed manually by users.
